We had our first family holiday back in June, just before peak season but still warm = perfect! We had a great time full of friends, exploring, swimming and fun. Here are some photos from the Bulgarian coast;
The view from our room.
A playground on the beach!
One great thing about this hotel is they had kids activities from sand pictures, making bracelets to face painting and dance parties.
Making friends wherever we are.
“ho ho ho, a pirate!”
Woke up at 5am one morning and enjoyed the sunrise.
3 single beds pushed together for the 4 of us to sleep on, it surprisingly turned out really well all being together!
Nessebar, this was my favorite town we visited. It’s a beautiful town with lots of ruins to discover and scenery to enjoy.
Playing hide and seek among the ruins.
It was great having another family we are friends with along for the adventure.
We visited the town of Sozopol twice, it’s one of the oldest towns on the coast. It was a beautiful town, with lots of character.
Michael on the sea.
Lovely Black Sea Coast.
A family beach holiday complete with a sea boat ride :)
On our way back home we stopped at the Thracian city of Kabyle. It’s a big town with a lot of ruins, and some still being discovered. It dates back to about 2000 BC , being part of Alexander the Great’s empire, housing kings, being a military centre, temples, lots of history! Amazing place. We didn’t get to look at the whole town as it was so hot! Looking forward to visiting again.
The end of the holiday, until next year! We had a fabulous time. It’s a lot of fun discovering this country we now call home.
